The Crisfield Heritage Foundation is your link to discovering a pristine world.

There are unlimited opportunities to witness bald eagles, owls, hawks and countless other flying creatures indigenous to the area.

Come visit us at the Tawes Museum to tour Cox’s Shanty where to learn more about crabs and their shedding process.

Also at the museum you can obtain a permit to explore the Cedar Island Marsh Sanctuary.  Here you will encounter a multitude of plant life and animals who call the salt marsh home.
